Please, please pre- order your repeat medications and flea and worming treatment ahead of coming to the Practice, it helps us hugely if you're able to do so, thank you for your consideration.

We apologise for the delay in commenting publicly, we have been understandably snowed under with enquiries and are working as hard as we can to prioritise. We are appalled by what we have seen on social media. As soon as we were made aware of the situation; we immediately terminated our 2 year long agreement with AFS. We visited the site first thing this morning and all our patients' ashes are safely returned with us at the surgery. Any affected owners have been contacted individually, albeit due to our duty of care and client confidentiality, we cannot comment further. From what we saw this morning, we are as confident as we can be that all individual cremations have been done correctly. We are mortified at the situation we find ourselves in and are so sorry for the upset and anguish it is causing. We will address our clients' individual concerns but, we respectfully ask we have time to do so, as soon as we are able.

We continue with our pre-booked appointment system which we have learnt to love, we're able to book more routine operations day on day, due to the ability to rota on more Vets for morning ops and we're here excited to start plans for another extension expanding our services again. Our opening times remain the same, Monday - Friday with appointments from 8am to 6pm, breaking 12.30-2pm to catch up with phone calls and any inpatient care and sometimes grab a little lunch, then Saturday morning, we have appointments available 8am- 11am. We try to keep Saturday appointments available for those emergency appointments and those who genuinely can't get their animals to the Practice in the week, please assist us in facilitating this.

Anytime we're not here- please remember that VetsNow are there in our absence. Thank you all so much for all your continued support, trust and loyalty to us, we do genuinely appreciate it.

New clients:

Good news, with our new extension now finished, the team as strong as ever and some careful thought and consideration; we have decided to register a small amount of new clients, the registrations will be at our discretion and could be refused due to individual circumstances.

We will be accepting registrations from: WR1, WR2, WR3, WR4, WR5, WR6, WR7, WR8, WR9, WR10, WR11, WR12, WR13, WR14 & WR15 postcodes.

We may alter or retract this at any point.

(We are not able to accept registrations where your Pet has an ongoing clinical condition, where in the best interests of the animals it would be best staying on your current Vets' treatment plan, in addition we will not be seeing second opinion cases.)

Our values remain and it's super important to us to keep our high levels of care tip top and need to look after both our fantastic team and our loyal clients.

Vetsnow’ provide Henwick Vets with assistance out of hours to ensure that in a critical emergency there are specialists readily available for your pets’ assistance.
